Vicki – VBAC Specialist

Vicki Hobbs started her complementary therapies business in 2004 and has been working with pregnant women since 2006.

She is a highly respected and awarded childbirth educator.

After being a Hypnobirthing Australia practitioner for many years Vicki has decided to incorporate her many years of experience and education into her Back to Basic Birthing program as part of the “& Co” of Perth Hypnobirthing & Co.

Vicki is also Perth Hypnobirthing & Co’s VBAC specialist having supported many couples to achieve wonderful births after caesarean.

Her belief is that everyone is unique and therefore what works for one person may be useless for the next. She is a highly qualified remedial massage therapist specialising in pregnancy and postpartum massage and uses her therapies for balancing the mind, the body and the emotions to prepare women for labour and birth.

She became a birth doula in 2010 and postpartum doula in 2015 and has attended over 100 births and now runs the Doula Training Academy to ensure that doulas supporting women are highly skilled and professional advocates for the rights of birthing women.

She has become a “serial learner” and has completed numerous workshops including Spinning Babies, VBAC Educator, Soundbirth, Acupressure, Dr. Rachel Reed, and Dr. Sara Wickham’s face-to-face and online workshops all relating to pregnant women.

Vicki is also a certified hypnotherapist, multi-award-winning Childbirth Educator, Placenta Encapsulator, Life Coach and Aromatherapist so incorporates many therapies into her work.

Vicki was knowledgeable and friendly and her class has really helped my partner and I prepare for our next birth after caesarean. We feel educated after her class and cannot wait to put it into practice. Thanks Vicki
