You’ve just learned to trust
your instincts...

Don’t stop now

You loved pregnancy and birth classes. You learned to trust your body. You learned to trust the natural way of things. You learned to trust each other.

Don’t let that stop after birth.

Bub Savvy’s Early Parenting Classes Perth

You’re about to embark on one of the most exciting adventures of your entire life – parenthood. You’ll feel things you can’t even find the words for at the same time and questioning yourself constantly. About breastfeeding, sleeping, crying, emotions, relationships, energy, tongue-tie, healing, sex, and what feels like a billion questions about your new baby.

Prepare the one source you can always trust for answers. Yourself.

Perth’s Bub Savvy’s parenting classes is education delivered monthly that begins while you’re still pregnant. Join Pip Wynn Owen – an advanced educator with over 2 decades of midwifery, breastfeeding and early parenting training experience – for non-judgemental, professional education and learn to filter the well-meaning advice to choose what’s best for you.

While you’re pregnant it can be so difficult to see beyond pregnancy and birth. There’s so much to learn about being pregnant and birth plans and neonatal wellbeing that taking on any more knowledge about newborns and early parenthood can easily fall right down to the bottom of your To Do list.

But you’ve just learned an invaluable life skill – to filter all the information out there and choose what suits you – and you don’t want to stop now.

Embrace early parenting with strong foundations for your family.

Your newborn will be relying on you from the first minute they’re here in the world, and if you’re equipped with the knowledge on how to successfully navigate breastfeeding, sleeping patterns, and bonding with your baby, you’ll face early parenthood with strength and confidence (and a whole lot of joy)!

Since starting Birth Savvy, I have studied the latest evidence around the biology, physiology, and anatomy of breastfeeding and infant sleep, and we combine it all with our decades of experience with newborn care and parenthood. The result is a range of comprehensive workshops designed to gift soon-to-be parents with information and insights to suit their unique family situation.

The result is confidence and excitement for the early stages of parenthood – and beyond!

“I didn’t feel like I was being told what to do, I felt that I was being given the knowledge so I could make my own choices.”

First time mother

I want you to do parenting your way. My early parenting workshops in Perth are designed to take the stress and confusion out of childbirth and infant care, so you have more time to bond with your family and experience all the joy parenthood has to offer.

My workshops allow you to develop the tools you need to navigate tricky moments, learn about newborn and baby development, and build confidence in your own parenting skills.

You’ve probably been bombarded with well-meaning advice from family, friends, and strangers since announcing your pregnancy.

How do you filter out the bits of brilliance from the info that’s outdated or just plain wrong?

Easy. I’ll guide you.

My curriculums are based on a solid and up-to-the-minute foundation of research in the areas of newborn and infant care. I’ve spent decades as a midwife, childbirth educator, and parent, so I’ve seen (and done!) it all. My early parenting classes are designed with you in mind, offering clear, honest, and useful guidance on how to navigate all those weird and wonderful moments that newborns and babies throw at you. And best of all, I work with you to develop your own parenting style, because I know there’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to families.

Early parenting classes are held at Wellness on Whatley in Maylands.

They are facilitated by Pip Wynn Owen Certified Childbirth and Early Parenting Educator, Midwife and Mother of 4.
Class fees are for 2 people – the person giving birth, and their chosen partner. New babies are also welcome. Workshops are conducted with limited numbers, so you get the full benefit of information tailored to your family’s unique situation, as well as the support of other soon-to-be parents.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, with the remaining payment due seven days prior to the workshop date. As Pip is a registered midwife, private health fund rebates are available for some funds. Be sure to ask your provider.

A special discount applies for Birth Savvy and Hypnobirthing Australia™ clients.
Please contact us for more information.

We provide tea, coffee, and light refreshments at the workshop, as well as chairs, birth balls, and cushions for your comfort. You are also welcome to bring your own food.
